His Excellency the President, Brig. (Rtd.) Julius Maada Bio appointed Waleed Shamsid-Deen as Special Envoy for Trade and Investment.  His duties include the following: 

• Promoting Sierra Leone’s business, products and trade interests abroad;

• Identifying trade and investment opportunities in emerging and growth markets for the attention of the appropriate authorities

• Any other duties assigned by His Excellency the President from time to time.
